Karrion Kross showed off his new ring gear for a match against Ricochet during Monday’s episode of WWE Raw.
He has a new gladiator mask as part of his entrance and is also wearing suspenders. After showing it off for the first time, there have been various fans poking fun at the new look.
Andrew Zarian of the Mat Men Podcast was able to get a quote from someone in WWE regarding why Kross changed up his look.
The source stated that “everything & everyone must be marketable. Toys, shirts, imaging, and accessories. You need to stand out to sell and this is how they sell.”

Kross dropped the NXT Title to Samoa Joe at Sunday’s Takeover 36 event and it seemingly looks like he has wrapped up his time in NXT. Fans are still waiting to see Scarlett with Kross on the main roster, but WWE reportedly has a plan in place before she returns to TV.
