Backstage news on Ridge Holland’s recovery from surgery

WWE NXT Ridge Holland is a highly-touted prospect on the brand, but his first big push was cut short.  He is still on the sidelines after suffering injuries on an episode of NXT last October during a match against Oney Lorcan.

He suffered a left ankle dislocation and fracture, a patellar dislocation, and a ruptured patellar tendon. Holland underwent surgery to get this done.

PWinsider.com reports the NXT star has been seen daily at the WWE Performance Center of late to continue to rehab his leg and working towards getting cleared to return to the ring.

It was said Holland has thrown himself into rehab in a massive way with a great attitude.

The patellar tendon rupture can take anywhere from 6-12 months to heal, but with the various injuries, the timetable for his return remains unknown.
