Backstage News On The Lucha Bros’ WWE Future

Many fans have wondered if the Lucha Bros (Penta and Rey Fenix) will reunite in WWE as a tag team. Since arriving, both stars have been working as singles stars on separate brands.

PENTA has been working on Monday Night Raw as and in the mix for the Intercontinental Title. He was part of the fatal 4-way match at WrestleMania 41, but failed to win the title.

On the flip side, Fenix has been working and getting wins in various matches. He replaced an injured Rey Mysterio against El Grande Americano at WrestleMania 41, and lost.

Fightful Select reported the following regarding the future of the duo: “Yes, they’ll absolutely be together at some point in the future. When I asked someone associated with the creative, they thought that both were capable of holding their own separately, generating buzz on their own, and then can create a big moment whenever they reunite.”

This is just a snippet of the story. For complete details, please visit Fightful Select at Patreon.com/Fightful.
