Backstage News On The Status Of Absent WWE Star

WWE has been without a talent that was used regularly in NXT since last year.

WWE officials were high on an NXT faction that they see as having an upside on the main roster. That faction was Meta-Four, which has been together since May 2023 and consists of Noam Dar, Oro Mensah, Lash Legend, and Jakara Jackson.

Last year on SmackDown, they made their main roster debut while still being part of the NXT roster when they fell short in challenging for the Women’s Tag Team Titles. At the time, it was reported that WWE sees the group as having main roster potential, so they’re were giving them a trial run with the ladies, as Dar is currently sidelined.

During a Supernova Sessions segment on NXT in May, Dar claimed Oro Mensah’s victory was invalid due to Dar’s leg being under the ropes during the pinfall. Following this, Dar attacked Mensah after a relationship reveal involving Legend. Dar was attacked by an unknown attacker on the following NXT episode.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful was asked in a Q&A about an update on Dar. It was noted that Dar had been sidelined with an injury in May, and he has not heard much else about Noam. It’s unclear when he will be medically cleared to wrestle again.
