Backstage News On Titus O’Neil’s WWE Status

Fightful Select reports that for those asking about Titus O’Neil’s WWE status, “he is still affiliated with the company.” While the former WWE Tag Team Champion is “not planned to wrestle” regularly, he has reportedly told Fightful “a number of times he could under the right circumstances.”

O’Neil’s WWE tenure began after he signed a developmental contract in 2009 and was part of the second season of the original NXT competition series in 2010. He made a name for himself on the main roster primarily as one-half of The Prime Time Players alongside Darren Young, with whom he captured the WWE Tag Team Championship in 2015.

O’Neil also had singles runs and led the “Titus Worldwide” faction. O’Neil is highly regarded for his charitable work. This led to him receiving the Warrior Award at the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony in 2021 (for the Class of 2020).

His last official WWE match was in late 2020, and he has since transitioned into a role as a WWE Global Ambassador, representing the company at various community and corporate events.
