Kane and Braun Strowman beat each other around the ring and into a double count out which resulted in nobody being named as Brock Lesnar’s opponent at the Royal Rumble.
Now it looks like WWE is in a situation where a special match could be in store for the Universal Title match at the Royal Rumble but in all honesty, the writing was kind of already on the wall about this one. The Beast Incarnate has two worth challengers and both of them are monsters, how much fun is this?
Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that the current story will take Brock Lesnar to the Royal Rumble in a triple threat match against both Braun Strowman and Kane.
This would be a pretty smart way to go about things, especially if WWE doesn’t want or need Braun Strowman taking another pinfall loss (which they don’t) and they need someone who can take the pin like Kane (which they do).
We’ll just have to see how things transpire in the weeks to come, but for now, it looks like both Kane and Strowman punched a ticket to Suplex City with that double count-out no-finish on Raw this week.
