WWE is letting several wrestlers work Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport X event next month.

This news caught many people off guard because WWE rarely let this happen unless they have an existing working relationship with a promotion, whether that be feeder systems in the UK or EVOLVE years ago.
They currently have a relationship with Booker T’s Reality of Wrestling promotion in Houston, where they send NXT stars to specific shows but rarely let main roster talent work non-WWE events.
Decision
Shayna Baszler is the first to be announced with more stars expected to be announced soon. This is the latest difference in a Triple H-led WWE from what Vince McMahon did while in charge.
Dave Meltzer noted in the daily update on F4Wonline.com that they “were told it was a Paul Levesque decision and that Paul Levesque has a different view on these things than Vince McMahon had.”
