Backstage news on WWE’s plans for the next Saudi Arabia event

WWE will present its Crown Jewel premium live event next Saturday in Saudi Arabia, headlined by Roman Reigns defending the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against Logan Paul.

On Monday, WWE confirmed that the Elimination Chamber event will be held on February 18, 2023, from the Bell Centre in Montreal. The 2022 Elimination Chamber event was held in Saudi Arabia this past February, featuring Brock Lesnar regaining the WWE Championship in an Elimination Chamber match.

There had been speculation that WWE may hold the Elimination Chamber and a Saudi show in the same month, which WWE is doing with Crown Jewel on November 5 and Survivor Series in late November.

Pwinsider reports that there will not be a Saudi Arabia event in February, but WWE is planning to hold the next Saudi Arabia show in the Spring. However, an official date has yet to be locked down yet.

The company has a 10-year partnership with the Saudi General Sports Authority, and WWE is paid big money to host two events in the country per year.
