Backstage News On Why Liv Morgan Vs Stephanie Vaquer Was Short At WWE WrestleMania

The reason Liv Morgan and Stephanie Vaquer’s Women’s World Championship match at WrestleMania 42 was shorter than some fans expected has been revealed.

According to Bodyslam, both Morgan and Vaquer were already dealing with physical issues heading into WrestleMania 42, and WWE made the decision to keep the match brief to avoid either woman aggravating her condition on the biggest stage of the year.

Despite the shorter runtime, the match still delivered significant moments. Roxanne Perez got involved, and Morgan ultimately threw Vaquer into the steel steps before connecting with her finisher to win the Women’s World Championship. Morgan also performed her own entrance music live before the match, adding to what became a landmark night for her regardless of the match length.

Morgan’s title win at WrestleMania 42 marks her return to the top of the women’s division and gives her one of the defining moments of her career at WrestleMania. As of this writing, WWE has yet to confirm Morgan’s status for tonight’s Raw.
