WWE is planning a significant expansion of its premium live event schedule in Saudi Arabia for 2026. According to a new report from Fightful Select, the company is slated to hold three PLEs in the country next year.
This comes after a successful Night of Champions event and the previous announcement that the 2026 Royal Rumble would emanate from Riyadh in January. The report notes that in addition to the Royal Rumble, two more yet-to-be-named events are tentatively planned for May 2026 and November 2026. This is a notable increase from 2025, which is only scheduled to have one Saudi-based event.
The November 2026 date immediately raises questions about the scheduling of one of WWE’s “Big Four” events, Survivor Series, which has traditionally been held on Thanksgiving weekend in the United States. A WWE source told Fightful that if the November show in Saudi Arabia were to be Survivor Series, the company would move it off of Thanksgiving weekend, as they could not envision sending talent on a major overseas tour during the holiday.
For now, work is set to begin in the coming weeks on the production for the Royal Rumble in January, the first of the three planned events for 2026. It should be noted that WWE is contracted to host two events per year in the country.
