During the match, Dragunov approached Lesnar and delivered chops. Lesnar appeared to “no-sell” the offense, screaming in Dragunov’s face before easily throwing him over the top rope for an elimination. While some fans in the stadium reacted positively to Lesnar’s display of dominance, the sentiment backstage was reportedly different.
According to Fightful Select, several wrestlers sent “eye-rolling emojis” in response to the positive crowd reaction. The report stated, “Multiple wrestlers sent us some eye rolling reactions at fans that were “happy” that Brock Lesnar no sold Ilja Dragunov’s offense in the Royal Rumble.”
As of this writing, there have been no reports about what WWE has planned for Lesnar. It was reported earlier this week that it’s not a lock that Lesnar will wrestle Oba Femi as some had speculated.Â
