Three stars have departed from WWE as the news broke on Friday that Indi Hartwell, Baron Corbin, and Tegan Nox are no longer with the company.
WWE released Hartwell and Nox from their deals, while Corbin announced he would depart the company at the end of his existing deal. No more talent is expected to be cut.
Hartwell first signed with WWE in 2019 before making her TV debut in January 2020 on an episode of NXT. While with WWE, she became NXT Women’s Tag Team and NXT Women’s Champion. She mostly found success as part of The Way with Candice LeRae, Johnny Gargano, and Austin Theory. Hartwell was called up to the main roster as part of the 2023 Draft to Raw and later moved to SmackDown months later.
Fightful Select reports, “Hartwell’s was the most unexpected of the group,” as her taped match aired on Friday’s SmackDown. The report noted, “When asking for reactions, several staff and talent felt she was coming into her own with social media skits of late.”
