WWE will be without one star going forward due to an injury that has left her sidelined for the next several weeks.
News broke earlier this week that Dakota Kai is injured, which has made her inactive from wrestling. The Damage CTRL star went down with a tear in her meniscus, with the expected return timetable being eight to ten weeks on the sidelines as a result.
PWInsider.com reports that backstage in the company, there is a lot of sympathy for her as she is well-liked and respected. Although WWE gave the timetable listed above for her return, there is no concrete date set.
The internal hope is that she will be back in the ring on television as WWE begins the build-up to the Survivor Series PLE in late November. Kai returned to the ring months after she was sidelined for nearly a year when she tore her ACL in May 2023.
We wish Kai a speedy recovery.
