We haven’t seen Alexa Bliss in the ring in many months and there is nothing new on her status other than she is hoping to eventually be cleared to wrestle again.
Although she is considered an inactive competitor, WWE is doing everything possible to keep her involved on Raw each week and they are doing that with her “Moment of Bliss” segments.
This week’s segment was odd with Paul Heyman and the debut of Heavy Machinery but most fans are talking about the backstage segment that aired moments earlier.
For those of you that didn’t watch the show, a production crew member accidentally walked in on Bliss while she was getting dressed.
Long-time fans were reminded of when they would do segments like this on a regular basis and led to speculation that WWE was trying to bring back some Attitude Era segments to boost ratings.
On Monday’s Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer said that the segment was simply WWE’s way of trying to do something “sexy” on the show. So, no the Attitude Era is not coming back but it looks like the company wants to inject some sex appeal into the show. Perhaps, this is one of the things Vince McMahon had in mind when he said that he wanted to shake things up.
You can see the backstage segment in the video below. Oh, and click here to see Corey Graves’ reaction after the topless segment.
As of Tuesday afternoon, the segment had over 2 million views on YouTube.
