As previously noted here on the site, there are a few guys on the WWE Raw roster who are considered Paul Heyman projects.
The Street Profits, Aleister Black, Samoa Joe, and a few others are on the list of names that Heyman has been backing.
Two other names on the list are Andrade and Humberto Carrillo. Dave Meltzer noted in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that the current idea for the Carrillo vs. Andrade program is to try and get both of them over.
Heyman is also trying to have a couple of guys mixed in with different people. So, Andrade has two feuds going on at the same time. One with Carrillo and his other feud with Rey Mysterio. Meanwhile, Mysterio is also in the feud that pits him and Kevin Owens against AOP and Seth Rollins.
Basically, the idea is to have some top guys in different feuds instead of one. That sounds a lot like what Heyman would do at times in the original ECW. Mysterio is scheduled to defend the United States Championship on Raw this Monday against Seth Rollins. The show has already been taped. Click here if you want Raw spoilers.
Meanwhile, on SmackDown, a change is being made to The Revival’s character. Click here for more on that story.
