Backstage WWE reaction to UFC hosting recent PPV event at full capacity

The UFC 261 pay-per-view event took place this past Saturday in Jacksonville, Florida at the VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena. This marked the first time in over a year that the UFC had a show with full capacity of fans in attendance.

A little over 15,000 fans attended the show to see Welterweight Champion Kamaru Usman knockout Jorge Masvidal to retain the strap. The promotion has already confirmed they will have sold out crowds at UFC 262 next month, UFC 263 in June, and UFC 264, which will feature a rematch between Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier, in July.

WWE held WrestleMania 37 with fans in attendance this past month at Raymond James Stadium, which marked the first time that the main roster got to perform in front of live fans in over a year.

The belief is WWE will resume touring in July or August and SummerSlam will be the next pay-per-view with fans in attendance.
