Bad Bunny is stepping back into the wrestling ring, but it won’t be under the WWE banner. The Grammy Award-Winning Musician is slated to be the lead actor in the upcoming film "El Muerto." The El Muerto character is a character from the Marvel Universe that debuted in the sixth issue of the Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man comic series.

El Murto originally fought Spider-Man in a charity wrestling match in which he nearly unmasked Spider-Man before being stung by Spider-Man with a paralyzing poison. They later teamed up to defeat Dorado.

At the CinemaCon, Bunny was introduced to the crowd by Sony Pictures President Sanford Panitch. The movie is slated to be released on January 12th, 2024, and will be the sixth standalone film in the Sony Spider-Man Universe.
