Bail revoked for Tammy Sytch, she will remain in jail during DUI Manslaughter trial

WWE Hall of Famer Tammy Sytch went to court on Friday morning in Volusia County, Florida regarding the motion brought forward by the State to have her remanded back to jail after she posted bond and was released following her arrest last weekend.

Florida State Attorney R.J. Larizza previously filed the motion on May 9th that called for her to remain in jail from now through the end of her potential trial. She was arrested on May 6th stemming from the death of 75-year-old Julian Lasseter this past March during a traffic incident in Ormond Beach, Florida.

The charges include one count of DUI causing death, one count of causing death while operating a vehicle with a suspended or revoked driver’s license, four counts of DUI causing injury to a person, and three counts of DUI causing damage to property.  Police had been waiting for the full results of her toxicology to be returned before moving forward with criminal charges.

The State argued that Sytch had violated her probation stemming from three DUI arrests in Pennsylvania where she was given probation and it being revoked led to her being re-sentenced to Pennsylvania’s Carbon County Prison. The motion noted Sytch has a suspended driver’s license in Pennsylvania and has never held a valid driver’s license in the State of Florida.

At the hearing, officers testified that Sytch’s blood-alcohol level was well over the legal limit and that an opened bottle of vodka was found in her vehicle at the time of her arrest. The Judge agreed with the State and Sytch was ordered back to jail.

The WWE Hall Of Famer had been out on bond after a bail bondsman put up 10% of the $227,500 that was needed. Sytch’s boyfriend James Pente put up his property as collateral.

She will be officially arraigned on May 31st in Volusia County Court. She faces up to 30 years in prison.
