During a backstage interview, Baron Corbin said he was ghosted by the person who set up his crowdfunding website and that person took the money that was raised.
Corbin also said that his identity was stolen, he no longer has a credit card and he had to ride to the bus to get to SmackDown. Corbin then asked, “what’s happened to me?”
As previously noted, WWE is doing a storyline similar to one that was done in the mid-1990s with Diamond Dallas Page. DDP lost all of his money and he was homeless but then began to rebuild his career and he eventually became a top star.
It appears that Corbin will eventually recover from his financial woes because WWE trademarked “Happy Corbin” several weeks ago.
