Barry Darsow Reveals Who Should Be In The WWE Hall Of Fame With Demolition

Demolition is often cited by fans as one of the most significant tag teams not yet inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. In an interview with Wrestling Epicenter, Barry Darsow (Smash) shared his thoughts on the potential honor and who should be on stage.

Hopes for Induction

Darsow made it clear he would be happy to be inducted, though he understands the competition is stiff. “I would love it. But, you never know,” he said. “There are so many tag teams and singles talents that are out there that they could go with. But, I would love it. I’m hoping that we are on their list.”

“All 3! With Crush!”

A common question for Demolition is whether an induction would include just the original pairing of Ax and Smash, or also include Crush (Brian Adams), who joined the team in 1990. When asked if it would be two or three members, Darsow was definitive.

“All 3! With Crush! Ax, Smash, and Crush, all 3 of us were Demolition,” he stated.

Darsow elaborated that Crush’s contributions were integral to the team’s legacy and that he should be honored alongside them. “I think Crush deserves it too,” he said.

Crush was famously added to the team under the Freebird Rule, allowing any two of the three members to defend the tag team championships. This lineup change was a significant part of the team’s history during their final, record-setting title reign.
