We already know that Trish Stratus is returning during Jerry Lawler’s “King’s Court” segment on SmackDown Live and now it looks like she might be stepping into the ring as well for a big title match.
WWE has posted a quick interview with Bayley on their social media accounts and she says she’s excited to see Stratus back on TV this Tuesday night.
Bayley said that she wants to elevate the SmackDown Women’s Championship so she is reaching out to Stratus.
“In all seriousness, it would be a dream come true and it would just elevate this championship to where I want it to be, to where it needs to be, to where it deserves to be. So Tuesday, Trish I’m calling you out.”
It sure sounds like a tease for Bayley vs. Stratus on Tuesday night. A Bayley vs. Stratus match could just be the set up for Status’ SummerSlam match where she is scheduled to face Charlotte Flair. Bayley is scheduled to defend her title at SummerSlam against Ember Moon.
