Bayley Pushes For WWE Evolution 2: “Now Is The Perfect Time”

Bayley is pushing for the company to bring back its all-women’s PLE, Evolution.

The inaugural Evolution event took place on October 28, 2018, at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Uniondale, New York. It was a historic night for women’s wrestling, featuring a stacked card headlined by Nikki Bella vs. Ronda Rousey.

Despite rumors of a second Evolution in 2020, the event never happened. In an interview with Adam Barnard of Screen Rant, Bayley recently reiterated her hope for WWE to revive the event.

“That’s even more opportunities for [women’s wrestling] to be showcased, you know? There’s so much more to do, there are so many more goals for us, now we have two more titles we can go after. I’ve been dying for an Evolution 2, and I think now is the perfect time. Bigger than ever, we have more girls than ever. We can have a freaking back-to-back two-night show if we wanted to, like WrestleMania. There’s so many girls, so many at NXT, we got this TNA partnership, we got two new titles. What are we doing? Let’s do it.”

Bayley fell short in her attempt to win back-to-back Royal Rumble matches this past Sunday, which Charlotte Flair won.
