Becky Lynch has officially declared she is boycotting Monday Night Raw, issuing a list of demands that must be met before she returns to the program. In a statement posted to X on Monday, Lynch targeted WWE official Jessika Carr and demanded the return of her championship.
“EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY, I, BECKY LYNCH, THE GREATEST OF ALL TIME (NOT JUST ME SAYING IT), WILL BOYCOTT MONDAY NIGHT RAW UNTIL MY DEMANDS ARE MET,” Lynch wrote. “MY TITLE IS RETURNED TO ME (SIDE PLATES INCLUDED), CARR IS SUSPENDED, AND AN APOLOGY IS ISSUED. THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION TO THIS MATTER!”
The Jessika Carr Situation
This latest outburst follows weeks of tension between Lynch and referee Jessika Carr. Lynch has repeatedly accused Carr of being “corrupt” and “suspicious” following her loss of the Women’s Intercontinental Championship to Maxxine Dupri in October. Lynch has claimed on social media that Carr has exhibited “bad judgment” and made “terrible calls” during her matches, fueling a narrative of a conspiracy against her.
The Side Plate Saga
Lynch’s specific demand for her title to be returned “side plates included” references a long-standing grievance during her recent reign. Fans had noted for months that despite holding the Women’s Intercontinental Championship, Lynch’s custom side plates were frequently missing from the belt, a detail that has seemingly become a sticking point for “The Man.”
Lynch was last seen competing in the Women’s WarGames match at Survivor Series this past Saturday, where she was part of the losing effort against Rhea Ripley’s team. It remains to be seen if Raw General Manager Adam Pearce will address these demands on tonight’s broadcast.
