Former SmackDown Live Women’s Champion Becky Lynch recently spoke with Mike Jones of DC 101 to promote Sunday’s WWE Royal Rumble pay-per-view. During the interview, she was asked about her steel cage match with Alexa Bliss on last week’s episode of SmackDown Live. She said that it was daunting and when it’s coming down, it makes a sound. She noted that she was surrounded by metal, which makes it intimidating. She added that it’s a painful match and doesn’t have very much give.
When asked why the Royal Rumble is her favorite event, she said that it’s like Christmas Eve and that it’s all excitement from the build up to the match to when the match is taking place as you never know who is going to walk out and make their return.
