Becky Lynch: ‘The Door Is Always Open To’ Mercedes Mone ‘To Return To WWE’

Becky Lynch has made clear that the door remains open for Mercedes Mone to return to WWE and complete unfinished Four Horsewomen business, saying the group’s story is one that can be revisited at any time and will always deliver when it does.

Speaking on the Cheap Heat podcast, Lynch was asked about the legacy of the Four Horsewomen and whether there is more left for the group to accomplish together. She was enthusiastic about what the foursome has already built while acknowledging the obvious reality that the group is not currently whole.

“Honestly, I can’t disagree, that’s a great answer,” Lynch said. “We’re a great foursome. We were never really aligned. We did great work, and we’re still doing great work.”

Lynch then addressed Mone’s absence directly. “Well, we’re not all here,” Lynch said. “You know, the door is always open to Sasha. So I think that’s one of those things you can go back to at any time, and it will always be fantastic.”

Lynch’s comments come after Charlotte Flair recently acknowledged on the Complex Graps podcast that the Four Horsewomen are not as close as they once were, with each member having gone their separate ways both professionally and personally over the years.

Mone, who competed in WWE as Sasha Banks before departing in 2022, spent time in NJPW and New Japan before becoming the face of AEW’s women’s division, where she held the TBS Champion. The Four Horsewomen of WWE, consisting of Lynch, Flair, Bayley, and Mone, debuted together on the main roster in July 2015.
