Becky Lynch gets involved in WWE SmackDown Women’s Title match at live event

WWE is staying with their storyline that Becky Lynch is not ready for in-ring action due to a “knee injury.” After taking her off of live events last weekend, WWE had her back on the road and she got involved in a match at a WWE live event on Saturday night in Dekalb, IL at the NIU Convocation Center.

It all went down once WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Asuka and  Charlotte Flair went to a no-contest because Lynch ran in and attacked both Flair and Asuka with a crutch.

Lynch is currently scheduled to challenge WWE Raw Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey for the title at the WrestleMania 35 that is scheduled to take place on Sunday, April 7, 2019 in East Rutherford, NJ at MetLife Stadium.

WWE has already announced that Lynch has been invited to appear on Monday’s episode of Raw. Here are the results from Saturday’s live event:

Shinsuke Nakamura & Rusev def. New Day and The Usos

Carmella & Naomi def. Mandy Rose & Sonya Deville

Shelton Benjamin def. Tye Dillinger

Mustafa Ali def. Samoa Joe

SmackDown Live Women’s Championship: Asuka (c) vs. Charlotte Flair ends in a no-contest

WWE United States Championship: R-Truth (c) def. Andrade

The Miz & Jeff Hardy def. The Bar

AJ Styles def. Randy Orton
