Becky Lynch: ‘I’m Going To Ruin’ AJ Lee’s Life At WWE Elimination Chamber

Becky Lynch is escalating the personal nature of her rivalry with AJ Lee ahead of their match at WWE Elimination Chamber. On Saturday, February 28, 2026, in Chicago, Illinois, Lynch is scheduled to defend her WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship against the returning Lee.

While speaking during her latest social media vlog, Lynch targeted Lee’s literary achievements, comparing the success of their respective autobiographies. Lynch took a jab at the longevity of Lee’s book on the New York Times bestseller list while boasting about her own accomplishments.

“Absolute Joke, AJ Lee, her New York Times bestselling book didn’t last very long on the New York Times bestseller list. It was barely on there, actually. She hardly made it on. I made it on many weeks, lots of weeks,” Lynch stated.

Masterclass in Heel Work

The feud, which has been intensifying throughout February on Monday Night Raw, has seen Lynch fully embrace a more unlikable persona. Following Lee’s return to the brand, Lynch was goaded into granting the title match at the upcoming Chicago event. Fans have noted that Lynch’s “nervous laughter” during their segments has served as a “perfect” example of her character work, illustrating how much Lee has managed to “get under her skin.”

A Vow for Destruction

Beyond literary comparisons, Lynch made it clear that she intends to deliver a personal performance at Elimination Chamber. After Lee recently saved Maxxine Dupri from an attack, Lynch blindsided her and shoved her into a ring post, further fueling the animosity.

“She’s going to rue the day to rue the day that she ever decided to come and try to ruin my life. I’m going to ruin her life in Chicago,” Lynch warned.
