The stage is set for the first-ever women’s Tables Ladders and Chairs match. SmackDown Live Women’s Champion Becky Lynch will face quite the test in a few weeks in San Jose. She’ll defend her title in a Triple Threat TLC match against Charlotte Flair and Asuka. Asuka won the opportunity by winning a battle royal on SmackDown Live recently.
Lynch and Flair will rekindle their old rivalry which was put on ice prior to Survivor Series. Lynch was initially scheduled to face Raw Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey at Survivor Series, however, after sustaining a broken nose and concussion on an episode of Raw, she was forced to withdraw.
As a result, Lynch selected Flair to serve as her replacement, offering a hug before the big match. However, all those good emotions seem to have gone out the window, as Lynch recently took a shot at Flair on Twitter. Lynch called Flair a “Bootleg Becky,” suggesting she copies everything “The Irish Lass Kicker” has been doing as of late:
“As usual, doesn’t matter where you put me on the card – I am the main event. The Man v The Empress v The Man…I mean Bootleg Becky…I mean Charlotte.
