Becky Lynch is an absolute savage. If you thought some of her verbiage lately has been on a different level then you should read the response she gave after Rousey’s long Instagram post.
Lynch said, “Ronnie, TL/DR. When I got my face broke I got up, owned you THEN showed up the next day looking to fight some more. When you got your face broke you hid for a year under your blankie. Your mind is as weak as your jaw, & I’m going to move heaven & earth to come destroy them both.”
Lynch is referring to the TMZ video of Rousey covering her face in a blanket after her 2015 loss to Holly Holm. Rousey described that time as the lowest point in her life and she said that she had suicidal thoughts.
One could argue that Nia Jax’s punch on Monday was a blessing in disguise for everyone involved because WWE has a huge angle on their hands for WrestleMania if they want to go in that direction.
At this point, there is no word on when the Rousey vs. Lynch match will happen but Rousey is scheduled to take on Nia Jax next month at the TLC pay-per-view. Of course, WWE will turn the Jax punch into a storyline so it would make sense for Jax vs. Lynch to happen at the Royal Rumble.
The pieces are falling in place nicely for Lynch to win the women’s Royal Rumble and then go on to challenge Rousey for the Raw Women’s Championship at WrestleMania.
