Former WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch appeared on the State of Combat to discuss various topics including her history with fellow former champ Charlotte Flair. These two stars have been feuding over the last few months on SmackDown Live.
Although they are friends outside of the WWE bubble, their on-screen rivalry is one of the best programs in recent memory as both talents are great on the microphone and in the ring.
Lynch, who is slated to challenge Asuka for the SmackDown Women’s Title at the upcoming at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view event on Sunday, January 27, 2019, in Phoenix, Arizona at Chase Field, had some fun with Flair.
She did so by mocking her for attempting to act like she’s tough and edgy, which is something that Lynch has presented with her new push on television.
“Then I have to watch Charlotte Flair step into my role, and clearly you hug people you don’t like when you’re concussed because I don’t know what I was doing; wouldn’t have ever hugged her in a million years in a sober state. I have to watch her try to be bootleg Becky at Survivor Series acting like she’s me, thinking she’s tough, thinking she’s edgy. That woman couldn’t have any edge if she turned into a Rubik’s cube.” Becky said.
