Becky Lynch no longer selling knee injury, competes at WWE live event

Former WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch is no longer selling her knee injury that has been the main focus of the storyline that the sports entertainment company has presented since late January.

WWE held a live event on Monday in Youngstown, OH at the Covelli Centre. At this show, Lynch faced off against fellow former champion Charlotte Flair in a singles bout where Lynch went over once hitting her finisher, the Disarm-her.

Fans in attendance noted that she showed up without crutches or a limp. In fact, she didn’t sell the knee injury in the match unlike at Sunday’s Fastlane pay-per-view event where she beat Flair by DQ in order to earn a spot in the likely main event of WrestleMania 35 next month.

She was never injured and this was purely a storyline in order to get her to be added to the Triple Threat Match with Flair and WWE Raw Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey at WrestleMania.

WWE will hold WrestleMania 35 on Sunday, April 7, 2019 in East Rutherford, NJ at MetLife Stadium and be broadcasted on their streaming service, WWE Network.
