Becky Lynch on competition between SmackDown Live and RAW, women’s division, more

Former WWE SmackDown Live Women’s Champion Becky Lynch recently appeared on Between 2 Bells to talk about various topics. During the interview, she was asked about competition between RAW and Smackdowns women’s division. She stated that there has always been competition and that is the reason behind the driving force especially the four horsewomen. She noted that everybody in the division wants to have the best match in the division. She stated that both brands want to be the number one and better show.

When asked about SmackDown’s atmosphere, she noted that she loves it and thinks that it’s the best atmosphere to be in. She noted that Superstars are always going to be stressed during a PPV event because they want to be the best and put on a great show. “It’s a very supportive locker room, and I just find that with that there is more of a freedom to go out there and try things and just be open. I think that helps when you’re in any sort of creative industry. To be able to feel free and a little bit less uptight and less stressed. That’s how I feel on Smackdown specific, and I can only speak for myself, PPVs, shows, and everything. It’s just a little more free and a little less uptight. It’s just such a great creative atmosphere. Everybody’s rooting for each other, and everybody wants everybody to do well and everybody’s looking out for each other. It’s just always good crack, always good banter and I think that’s why Smackdown’s doing so well.” She added that everybody is happy to be there and she thinks that it translates.
