Becky Lynch had to chime in on social media once she saw the praise that newly-crowned WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair gave to Asuka.
As seen on this week’s episode of SmackDown Live in Uncasville, CT at the Mohegan Sun Arena on the USA Network, Flair beat Asuka to become the new champion, which marked the eighth time that she’s become a Women’s Champion under WWE’s banner.
After the match, Flair took to her official Twitter account to offer high praise to Asuka by writing, “This one means a lot. #8. Thank you @WWEAsuka; The most talented woman I’ve ever shared the ring with.”

Lynch saw this and had to sound off on it. Thus, she wrote, “There goes Charlotte with her empty, corporate ‘empowerment’ speak again. As long as you’re the only one who’s empowered though, eh Char?”
