Becky Lynch reacts to receiving CBS’ Wrestler Of The Year award

Becky Lynch had an amazing 2018 in WWE, in which she emerged as one of the company’s biggest stars. Lynch really got the backing of the WWE Universe when she turned heel at SummerSlam earlier this year and began feuding with Charlotte Flair. She’d have a great run with the SmackDown Live Women’s Championship before dropping it at the Hell In A Cell pay-per-view earlier this month. Recently, CBS named Lynch their Wrestler Of The Year for 2018.

Lynch took to Twitter to react to the honor. Here’s what she had to say:

“Start of 2018, I couldn’t even get on TV. You’re never truly down, you’re never truly out. Stand up and fight. Keep swinging even if you don’t know what you’re swinging for, or at. If you’re like me you’ll eventually slap a head that deserves it and the whole world will notice.”

“The Irish Lass Kicker” also took home CBS’ WWE Match Of The Year award for her involvement in the Triple Threat TLC match for the SDL Women’s Championship, and the Best Moment Of The Year award in which she attacked Ronda Rousey on Monday Night Raw.
