Ric Flair knocked Becky Lynch during the latest “WOOOOO Nation” episode when he was talking about the return of Ronda Rousey at the WWE Royal Rumble and her segment with Lynch on the post-Royal Rumble edition of Monday Night Raw.
The WWE Hall Of Famer took issue with Lynch calling Rousey “Ronnie” instead of her actual name.
“It’s huge. She’s not Ronnie. She’s Ronda Rousey,” Flair said. “Anybody that’s stupid enough to call her Ronnie and make a joke of her presence and what she brings to the company is out of their mind, aka, what is her name now? Big Time Becks? ‘Hey Ronnie. Welcome back.’ Wow, that’s exciting. That’s really exciting. How about, ‘Thank you Ronda for showing up because I’m not ‘The Man’ anymore. I’m generic, who am I, Big Time Becks, The Lass Kicker, I don’t know.’”
Flair and Lynch have a history of exchanging words on social media and interviews. Flair has made it known that he doesn't want Lynch to use “The Man” term because he came up with it. The Raw Women’s Champion fired back at Flair on Twitter because of his latest comments:
