One of the most beloved and popular stars in WWE appears to be finishing up with the company.
As was reported by Fightful Select, Becky Lynch and WWE have not come to terms on a new deal and her current contract expires this Saturday, June 1st. Lynch lost a Steel Cage rematch against Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan on Monday Night Raw.
As seen in the clip below, Lynch was very emotional after the show as she waved to the fans before going to the backstage area. Lynch also posted a tweet after the show that showed herself walking out of the arena with the caption, “To Be Continued.”
There’s always a chance that a new deal can be reached but in wrestling, anything is possible. Once her deal expires, other wrestling companies, including AEW and TNA, will be legally free to talk with her and make an offer. Losing Lynch would be a huge loss to WWE because of how beloved she is with the fans and her peers and she’s a ratings mover.
