This week’s episode of Monday Night Raw kicked off with a segment featuring Stephanie McMahon begging Becky Lynch to get her knee checked out because it would be a liability for her to wrestle with an injury at WrestleMania.
Lynch refused to see a doctor so McMahon said that she had no choice to suspend Lynch from WWE. Lynch did not like what she heard so she proceeded to attack McMahon as officials ran in to try to restore order.
For those of you wondering, Lynch is not injured but she has been taking extra steps to keep kayfabe by wearing the knee brace in public. The storyline appears to be that the deck is being stacked against Lynch, just like Vince McMahon did against Steve Austin during the Attitude Era.
At some point, Charlotte Flair is expected to be added to the match as the plan is for a Triple Threat Match as the WrestleMania main event.
After the commercial break, Rousey stood face to face with Ronda Rousey in the backstage area.
