Recently, Becky Lynch and Conor McGregor had a brief exchange on Twitter. The SmackDown Live Women’s Champion commented on a story suggesting that she is taking a page out of Conor McGregor’s book with her trash talk. Lynch responded by saying that she would break McGregor’s arm if they ever came within a two-mile radius of one another, and would share a glass of whiskey with him after.
McGregor responded by offering Lynch “Proper back up,” referencing his Proper 12 Irish whiskey. Many took this as a possible tease for a McGregor appearance in WWE sometime in the future. It looks like the teases haven’t stopped there. Lynch recently responded to a Tweet from WWE’s official account, referencing Lynch and McGregor’s exchange.
Lynch referenced McGregor’s bus incident in New York this past April, where he flew from Ireland to Brooklyn via a private jet to defend his friend’s honor. “The Irish Lass Kicker” teased McGregor could make an appearance at WrestleMania 35 in New Jersey next year:
