Becky Lynch: “The world still needs that one-on-match with Ronda Rousey”

WWE Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch recently did an interview with Sports Illustrated about a wide range of topics.

This interview was done to have her reflect on the rise of her popularity over the last year where she went from a name in the division to be the biggest star the company has right now.

In the interview, Lynch made it clear that while she is yet to face Ronda Rousey in a singles match, she’s still waiting on the match.

Lynch beat Rousey and Charlotte Flair to win the WWE Raw and SmackDown Women’s Titles at WrestleMania 35 in a Winner Take All Match. This marked Rousey’s latest match as she took time off from WWE to start a family.

“I’m exactly where I want to be, but there’s always more work to be done. The world still needs that one-on-match with Ronda Rousey. Whenever she’s ready, I’ll be here, still holding down the fort in WWE.”
