Becky Lynch thinks a one-on-one match with Ronda Rousey will happen

Becky Lynch has shared the ring with Ronda Rousey in the past, but never got the chance to wrestle her in a singles match and that is a bout fans still want to see.

The original match was slated for Survivor Series in 2018, but was nixed when Lynch got punched by Nia Jax in a brawl on Raw and she suffered a concession that resulted in her being pulled from the bout and replaced by Charlotte Flair.

Lynch beat Rousey and Flair in the main event of WrestleMania 35. Since that time, Rousey hasn’t worked a match and just gave birth to her daughter last month.

Lynch also gave birth to her baby girl in December 2020 before returning at SummerSlam to beat Bianca Belair to win the SmackDown Women’s Championship

During an interview with Ryan Satin on Out of Character, she was asked whether she thinks Rousey will return to WWE to make that singles match happen.

“Yeah, and I do think it will. The fact that I’ve had a baby and came back so great that she’ll probably want to one up me. She’ll try to come back in three months, then I’ll be right there to punch her right in the face, give her a Rock Bottom, out of here in 20 seconds, Ronda. So long, good night.”
