Betting Odds For WWE Heatwave: Two Title Changes Expected

The betting odds have been released for this Sunday’s WWE Heatwave premium live event. According to the lines from BetOnline.ag, two of the championships being defended on the show are expected to change hands.

New Champions Expected At Heatwave

A title change is predicted in the NXT Tag Team Championship match, as the challenging faction, DarkState (-250), are the favorites to defeat the reigning champions, Hank Walker & Tank Ledger (+170).

The odds also favor a new champion in the TNA Knockouts World Championship match. In the triple threat bout, Masha Slamovich (-150) is the favorite to win the title, ahead of the current champion, NXT’s Jacy Jayne (+110), and the other challenger, Ash By Elegance (+600).

Oba Femi Favored To Retain NXT Championship

In the main event of the evening, NXT Champion Oba Femi (-400) is a heavy favorite to retain his title against the number one contender (+250). The challenger for that match was determined on last night’s episode of NXT. In the main event of the go-home show, Je’Von Evans defeated TNA World Champion Trick Williams to earn the right to face Femi for the championship at Heatwave.

The Heatwave premium live event is set to take place this Sunday, August 24, from Toronto, Canada, and will air live on Peacock in the United States and on Netflix internationally. The show will air after AEW’s Forbidden Door pay-per-view, which is also scheduled for this Sunday. The real-time betting odds are subject to change and can be found on BetOnline.ag.
