Bianca Belair has offered fans another look at the finger injury that has kept her out of the ring.
During a question-and-answer session on her Instagram Stories, Belair was asked about the state of her finger. Rather than write out an answer, she responded with a photo, which showed the finger still visibly swollen.
The injury dates back to WrestleMania 41 in April 2025, where Belair challenged for the Women’s World Championship in a triple threat against IYO SKY and Rhea Ripley on night two. It happened during a triple German suplex spot from the top rope, with her left hand caught underneath Ripley as the three came down. Belair has since said she fractured her ring finger in three places, including the knuckle joint.
Recovery has taken far longer than anyone expected. Initial estimates put it at eight to twelve weeks, but the finger healed straight, leaving her unable to bend it properly. After close to a year of rehab, Belair underwent reconstructive surgery in February 2026 and began therapy the day after. She has described the process as painful and repetitive, with scar tissue stiffening the joint and making it feel like she is starting over.
Belair has kept fans updated throughout and has been consistently upbeat about it. In May, she posted that she was finally able to wear her wedding ring again after her ring size went from a 7.5 up to a 10 at its worst. In June, she credited her time away with helping the rehab, writing that she is still in therapy and that the finger is bending.
Belair has not wrestled since WrestleMania 41. She appeared as a guest referee at Evolution in July 2025 and returned to WWE programming at WrestleMania 42, where she announced that she and husband Montez Ford are expecting their first child.
