WWE has yet to officially comment on Big Cass’ recent injury but we know that he does legitimately need crutches and he was scheduled to be looked at by a doctor to find out if he will require ACL surgery again. If he needs surgery then he would be out of action until early 2019 and he could be back in time for WrestleMania.
Cass has dealt with knee issues before and injuries are more likely to happen when you’re 7 feet tall. Kevin Nash is a prime example of someone that has been plagued by knee issues throughout his entire wrestling career. In 2015, Cass suffered a sprained MCL in his left knee. As many of you know, he was out for several months after suffering a torn ACL during a match with Enzo Amore last August on Monday Night Raw.
It’s been a rough time for Cass since he returned to action several weeks ago. He is in the doghouse with WWE management after going off script during a segment on Smackdown Live. He was supposed to face Daniel Bryan last week in a Money In The Bank qualifier and was supposed to lose.
We wish him the best and hopefully, the injury is not too serious.
