When a new character is set to debut on WWE television sometimes it takes weeks of promos and but other times WWE just pulls someone out of the blue and drops them on our television screens. We’ve had a few weeks to prepare for Luke Harper and Erick Rowan’s debut as the Bludgeon Brothers, and it’s been one strange and creepy trip so far.
Harper and Rowan have always been known to deliver ominous promos but the ones they’ve been giving recently while waiting for their new repackaging have been really over the top. While they speak in half-sentences about pain and how much they prefer darkness and devastation it’s given fans a good clue about what to expect which still isn’t much.
But whether or not the WWE Universe is ready to see Harper and Rowan’s return to television it’s going to happen next week on SmackDown Live. It’s still unknown if they’ll be placed with Breezango seeing how The Fashion Files didn’t air this week. But Luke Harper and Erick Rowan are returning to television next week to show off their new gimmick and hopefully get a new lease on their characters. Hopefully, WWE has some post-Survivor Series plans for these two big men.
It will be interesting to see what kind of ring attire they decide to go with as well as if they’ll be lugging those giant hammers along with them. I can only hope WWE has plans for them because Harper and Rowan have been two of the most underutilized members of the WWE roster for a long time now.
Their mission? To OBLITERATE EVERYTHING!
