Big E hints at a future without WWE: "People like us can only get so far"

WWE Superstar Big E seems to be rethinking things after the way things ended on this week's episode of SmackDown Live.

In a video posted on Twitter, he made it clear that he was not happy about his long-time friend Kofi Kingston being screwed again.

"Now, we understand the game," Big E said. "We see what the game is. People like us will only get so far. That you can climb the mountain...they'll let you climb the mountain but as a far as getting to the peak and staying at the peak, it's not a thing."

E said he and The New Day have done some good things but "clearly, we are never meant to be more than this. For people like us, that is not enough. It will never be enough so, we gotta sit back and think on whether we continue to be gone for 250 days plus a year is worth it of missing the family time, doing this to our bodies, leaving a piece of yourself in the ring [and] all of the things that we give if it's worth it if we can only get this far."

He added that he is proud of what The New Day has done as a trio but he is not sure if it's worth continuing if this is all they will be allowed to achieve.
