Big Match Planned For WWE Survivor Series

After WWE confirmed Survivor Series will emanate from Rogers Arena in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, on Saturday, November 30, details about WWE’s plans for the main event have come out.

In recent years, WWE has used the WarGames concept to breathe new life into the struggling Preiumum Live Event-themed event that pitted Raw vs. SmackDown talent against each other. The headliner of this year’s event will feature the top storyline on SmackDown.

Roman Reigns made his return at SummerSlam, screwing over Solo Sikoa in his chances of winning the Undisputed WWE Championship in his match with Cody Rhodes. Reigns and Sikoa have since tangled on SmackDown. On last week’s show, Reigns got the upper hand on Solo before Jacob Fatu took out Reigns.

PWN reports that WWE’s current plan for the main event is for Solo Sikoa to take on a group led by Roman Reigns. This has been the long-speculated Old Bloodline vs. New Bloodline match at Survivor Series.

It’s unclear exactly who Reigns will get for his team, although the obvious would be the Usos. Fatu, Sikoa, and the Tongas would make up the rival team.
