Big Matches Announced For A Stacked Episode Of WWE Raw Next Week

Next week’s episode of WWE Monday Night Raw will feature two pivotal semi-final matches in the King and Queen of the Ring tournaments, as the paths to SummerSlam become clearer. The broadcast from Columbus, Ohio, will also feature a non-title bout between two of the women’s division’s top champions.

In the King of the Ring semi-final, “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes is scheduled to face his friend and recent tag team partner, former World Heavyweight Champion Jey Uso. Both men have successfully advanced through the tournament bracket to reach this stage. The match will test their alliance, as the winner will move on to the tournament final with a guaranteed world title opportunity at SummerSlam on the line.

On the women’s side, the semi-final between Jade Cargill and Roxanne Perez presents a classic clash of styles. The match will pit the incredible power and size advantage of Cargill against the technical prowess and tenacity of the former NXT Women’s Champion, Perez. Both women have advanced impressively through the tournament, and their first-ever one-on-one encounter will determine who moves on to the tournament final.

Also announced for the stacked Columbus, Ohio, show is a high-profile non-title match between two of WWE’s champions. The new WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion, Becky Lynch, will go one-on-one with the reigning WWE Women’s Champion, Bayley. The two decorated superstars have a long and storied history, and this will be their first major singles encounter since Lynch’s recent return to the company.
