Former WWE Champion Big E is preparing to tell his life story in a new memoir. A new report has confirmed that a deal for the book is in place, and it will be based in part on his acclaimed 2024 article for The Player’s Tribune.
Big E Memoir In The Works
According to a report from Fightful Select, representatives for Big E confirmed that a deal for the memoir was closed last week. The book is currently untitled and does not yet have a planned release date, but it is officially in the works.
Based On Acclaimed ‘Sour’ Article
The report notes that the memoir will draw inspiration from Big E’s popular Player’s Tribune article titled “Sour.” In that deeply personal piece, the New Day member, under his real name Ettore Ewen, opened up about his life, his career, and his personal struggles, receiving widespread praise for his honesty.
The memoir will give Big E a platform to tell his story, which includes his ongoing recovery from a career-threatening neck injury. He suffered a broken neck during a match on SmackDown in March 2022 and has not been cleared to return to the ring since. While he has made non-wrestling appearances for WWE, his future as an in-ring competitor remains uncertain.
