WWE fans will be happy to hear the news that Jim Ross will be calling the action alongside Nigel McGuinness for the UK shows that were taped over the weekend. The shows are scheduled to air on the WWE Network later this month.
In his latest blog post, Ross wrote, “I’m excited to announce that I will join the talented Nigel McGuinness to broadcast the recently taped, WWE matches from Norwich, England and these bouts will air on the WWE Network soon. Happy for this opportunity to call bouts involving new wrestlers, for me, and a new broadcast partner which freshens up all facets of the process. Stay tuned as to when these specials will be broadcast on the WWE Network which is still the best value in the land for only $9.99 per month.”
He also noted that WWE has other bookings for him lined up and they will be announced once things are finalized. Ross has a 2-year deal with the company and his deal still allows him to continue doing work for AXS TV’s NJPW broadcasts. As noted earlier, he and Josh Barnett will be calling the action for NJPW’s debut in the United States when they run 2 shows from California in July.
