Big Show shares how many surgeries he underwent during WWE hiatus

The Big Show made his grand return to WWE television. 

As seen on this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw in Oklahoma City, OK at the Chesapeake Energy Arena on the USA Network, the former WWE Champion was revealed as the mystery partner of Kevin Owens and Samoa Joe for their six-man tag team match against Seth Rollins and AOP.

This was Show’s first match since November 2018. WWE’s YouTube channel has released this video of Show talking about his return which is where he revealed that he’s had five surgeries since the last time he was in action. 

“After going through 5 hip surgeries in a year and a half, to be able to take a phone call from a friend. A peer in the business, to come out in front of this incredible crowd tonight, get back in the ring in almost a year and a half, and be competitive. I’m just extremely humbled and grateful.”

He brought up how people say what doesn’t break you makes you stronger. He thinks his faith in his career and himself and the business was tested for the past 2 years.
